Welcome to the Scottish Health Council website

Welcome to the Scottish Health Council website. Our role is to ensure that NHS Boards take account of your views when they make decisions about Scotland’s health services. We know that health services that listen and pay attention to the patients and communities they serve deliver better care.

This website tells you who we are, what we do and how your participation can help the NHS work more effectively. You can view copies of our reports, on how well each Health Board in Scotland is working with patients, carers and communities and find examples of the good work that is happening already.

Chairman
Scottish Health Council
