Opening up... the Participation Toolkit

Who:

The event is mainly aimed at NHS colleagues that involve patients and public in their daily work. It will:

  • explore the various methods of participation and see practical examples
  • discuss how methods could be used in your own work
  • explore ways in which Patient Focus and Public Involvement can be further developed – the Toolkit is a live document and therefore can be added to
  • provide an opportunity for networking with people with similar interests.

What:

To highlight and support the use of the Scottish Health Council's Participation Toolkit, provide opportunities to learn from national and local examples of different Toolkit approaches in practice, and to explore how these approaches could be used in delegates' own engagement and participation activities.
